A big thank you for the reply , Niki and Carol are on the mend , Carol had a twisted knee. They were so disappointed to be so close to the finish, I am sure they will be out again next year for a worthy cause, they will be over the moon with the reply when I show them,

It is satisfying to know it ended well for all concerned. I hope your wife was not put off by the experience and that we will see the group up on the moors again in more favourable conditions? It is nice to see them fundraising for a deserving cause in Help for Heros. Let us know if you are doing the Lyke Wake Walk again and we will try to get out and support you.

A big thank you guy’s for helping the Lyke Wake Walkers off the moors on Sunday evening, my wife was one of the lady’s you rescued, thanks is not enough words for helping them, they were doing the Lyke Wake for the 3rd time this year for Help For Hero’s . Thanks Hero’s

We enjoyed it too, especially Gary who was last seen when he was photographed on Saturday strapping himself to a dog cart and heading off to the forest.
What a good idea using 13 stone, hairy, slobbering beasts to raise money for charity – and that was just our team members. The dogs were a much better attraction.
