Band and Buffet at the Grapes Friday 27th January 2012
Our first event of 2012 is a social gathering at the Grapes Inn, Ebberston on Friday night the 27th of January. The evening starts at around 21:00 with the band, Black Bean Sauce, starting at 21:30. Tickets are available from the Grapes, from team members or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. The function is kindly sponsored by the grapes so all ticket proceeds will go straight to the running of the team.

Flying Falcon 2012
Our first Challenge Event of 2012 is the Flying Falcon. Following the same route as for 2011, the event covers one of two circular routes across the North York Moors. You can attempt either a 15 mile or 20 mile circuit and the routes can be run or walked. Entry fee is £10 (or £12 for entries on the day). This year the event is being held on Saturday 17th of March 2012. The Raven Hall Hotel in Ravenscar is kindly sponsoring the event.

Ravenscar Coastal 1/2 Marathon 2012
This year held on Sunday the 29th of April the event is growing in popularity year on year. The route initially heads south from Ravenscar before turning and returning along the spectacular (and rugged) coast path back to the finish at the Ravenscar Village hall. We would recommend people train before attempting this event. All proceeds go directly towards the running of the team.
