Support Member

Our support members are a vital part of the Mountain Rescue family and support the operational members in many ways. Not least, as our goal going forward is for them to take on an ever-increasing amount of the responsibility for raising the £45,000 required to run the team each year.

As a support member you could:-

Provide non-operational support to the Operational Team
Act as a casualty during Mountain Rescue Training exercises
Help to raise funds for and awareness of the team
Attend community events as a representative of team
Assist with PR and Marketing
Attend challenge events as a Casualty Carer and/or checkpoint marshall
Act as an information sources for members of the public, answering questions and promoting the work of the team etc.

Rest assured, if you would like to join us, we can find a suitable role that will fit with your skills and interests and where you might like to help out.
